Your first property: from capture to publishing

In Spatia a property moves through four stages: capture, upload, processing and publishing. This page gives the overview; detailed guides will follow.

1. Capture the property with an iPhone

Capture with the Spatia iOS app on an iPhone with a LiDAR scanner (Pro models from iPhone 12 Pro onwards). Before you start, the app shows short guidance, and while you scan it shows which surfaces are already covered. When you finish, it checks the coverage and tells you if some surfaces are still missing.

The scan is saved on the phone first. You add the property address after the capture.

2. Upload the scan

You start the upload yourself with Upload scan. If the connection drops, the upload continues when it returns, and missing parts can be uploaded separately.

3. Processing

Spatia builds a photorealistic 3D model from the capture in the cloud. You can follow the processing status on the property page in the web app. The finished version waits for your review before it is published.

4. Review, finish and publish

Open the property in the editor: check the rooms and floor plan, add info points and choose what viewers can use. When everything is ready, publish the property and share the link – or embed the presentation on your own website.

Note

A shared link can be password protected and a publication can be paused. A republished property keeps the same address.
